Configuring a new LLM profile results in surprising and unintuitive behavior

I want to add Codex, so I do this:

Hit enter, and I see this:

I hit "Edit runtime details":

There's no indication that I will set the secrets later, if that makes sense? When I hit "Save and exit" I see this, but it's still surprising behavior.

That brings me here, and I have no idea what value I'm supposed to copy to my clipboard, or paste in:

Codex CLI with a subscription is typically an oauth browser flow, so I find this really strange to try to reason about.
