Thank you for these usability suggestions for GitHub's repository
navigation. Let me break down your requests to ensure I understand them
correctly:
Discussion & Wiki Count Indicators
Add a numeric counter next to "Discussions" tab (like Issues/PRs have)
Add a similar counter for Wiki pages
Current problem: No visual indication if content exists without clicking
Suggested: Discussions (5) similar to how Issues (10) appears
Yes.
Pinned Discussions Reordering
Currently missing drag handles for pinned discussions
Issues view already has this functionality
Request: Add the same drag-to-reorder functionality for pinned discussions
Yes.
These both seem like valuable improvements for repository discoverability
and management. A few questions to help elaborate on the requirements:
For the Wiki counter, would you expect it to show:
Total number of pages?
Or just indicate if a Wiki exists (like a simple dot or icon)?
I would expect to see total number of pages. That would tell the activity
on those pages, that is, how much valuable information I would expect to
find from there.
For pinned discussions reordering, would you want:
Identical behavior to Issues?
Or any additional sorting/organization features specific to Discussions?
Identical to Issues would be good.

Question
Body
In most repos, you don't view Discussions pages, because there is no number showing, if there is any discussions at all. Could you add a number - just like in Issues and Pull Requests - next to Discussions? And if so, the same could go for Wiki section, now you don't know if there is any Wiki pages at all for repo.
Second thing: You have a handle to reorganize pinned issues in Issue view, but no handle to organize pinned discussions in Discussion view. Could we have that?
