See this article on latex markdown for colored text, the markdown is not rendering correctly.

Agreed - I've just noticed that Github pages are no longer rendering the colours within markdown text. This has only happened recently.
Rendering effects vary from displaying:

1. full latex markdown e.g. \color{blue}I
   

2. partial markdown without colour e.g. \color{red}E
   

3. partial markdown with colour used for '\color' command e.g. \color green D (where the \color command is actually coloured - usually Red)
   

Have tried with various browsers (Firefox / Chrome / Edge), cleaned cache, etc.

Could this be fixed please?

I've just noticed that the 'comment' display rendering has removed the elements of the full latex markdown that I'm seeing sometimes - which are actually like:

Color hex codes (Tex / MathJax support) stopped working at the same time, so I suspect the issue is related:

the browser console says

Uncaught (in promise) Error: Can't load "https://github.githubassets.com/assets/input/tex/extensions/color.js"
    at new t (startup.js:1:6277)
    at e.failed (startup.js:1:9335)
    at r.onerror (startup.js:1:8723)

so if someone could reinstate that asset would be great (might be just that and therefore an EASY FIX❗️)

in the support ticket I also wrote (https://support.github.com/ticket/personal/0/3443708 if you can access it) I added information from y'all (including @BogdanSorlea 's investigation) and github folks are looking at the issue <3 .
