One of my organization has restricted users with an SMS authentication for a certain purpose! Now I need to remove the SMS auth to access work under this org

GitHub recently deprecated SMS-based 2FA for security reasons, and organizations can now enforce stronger 2FA methods like TOTP apps (e.g., Authy, Google Authenticator) or security keys (FIDO2/U2F).

If your org has disabled SMS auth for members:

          You must switch to a supported 2FA method (TOTP or security key) to access org resources.

          Go to Settings > Password and authentication > Two-Factor authentication, and set up a new method.

          Once done, remove SMS as your primary 2FA method.

SMS can’t be re-enabled for GitHub org access if the org enforces stronger 2FA rules — it’s by design for better security.

Thanks @Shenux0 the issue was: I can't disable the SMS auth for my account!
And now it's ok! I just added authenticator app and then I get the disable button for the SMS auth!
