Hi @ruukr8080 At the moment, GitHub doesn’t publish a public roadmap or timeline for IPv6 support on repositories or other services. GitHub Pages already works over IPv6 because it’s served through Cloudflare’s CDN. Core GitHub services (repos, API, web) are still IPv4-only. If IPv6 is important for your use case, the best next step is to open a ticket with GitHub Support Right now, the safe assumption is that full IPv6 support is not yet available, and there’s no published ETA. |

Hi @ruukr8080
At the moment, GitHub doesn’t publish a public roadmap or timeline for IPv6 support on repositories or other services.
GitHub Pages already works over IPv6 because it’s served through Cloudflare’s CDN.
Core GitHub services (repos, API, web) are still IPv4-only.
If IPv6 is important for your use case, the best next step is to open a ticket with GitHub Support
or add feedback via the GitHub public roadmap
. This way your request is tracked and seen by the product team.
Right now, the safe assumption is that full IPv6 support is not yet available, and there’s no published ETA.
