Select Topic AreaQuestion Copilot Feature AreaCopilot Coding Agent BodyI've created multiple custom agents, including Architect, Orchestrator, Coder, and Front-End-Master. I start by telling architect what I want to do. It comes up with a plan that it shares with Orchestrator that then portions out to Coder and Front-End-Master as needed. In Roo Code this works beautifully with being able to set each of those custom modes to use a different LLM model. But in Copilot, when I change one mode's LLM model, it changes them all. Am I missing a setting or is this just not available? |

Right now Copilot does not let you assign different models to different custom modes. The model selection is global for your whole Copilot session so when you switch it for one mode it applies everywhere. Roo Code has that flexibility but Copilot does not support it yet. At the moment the only option is to manually change the model when you switch modes.
