Hi @sulemanahmedraj 👋 If you’ve lost access to your two-factor authentication (2FA) credentials, you can regain access to your account by using your recovery codes or another recovery option. Please visit GitHub’s Virtual Assistant to explore your available options. Additionally, check out our GitHub 2FA Troubleshooting & Prevention Guide 🔐 for comprehensive troubleshooting steps. If you have lost your 2FA codes and recovery codes, the only way to regain access to your account is by using a previously set up verified device, SSH key, or Personal Access Token (PAT). If you have any of these, please open a ticket in our Support Portal. If you do not have access to any of these methods and have lost your recovery codes, unfortunately, our support team is unable to bypass two-factor authentication (2FA) for security reasons. However, you can unlink your email address here. For Future Reference: Once you regain access, I highly recommend:
As no other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions I am going to close this discussion. We appreciate your understanding and patience while Support works through your request! |

Dear GitHub Support Team, I am writing to formally appeal the suspension of my account (leiria3d.contato@gmail.com). I was recently using GitHub Copilot Chat within VS Code to work on a personal project when I suddenly lost access and received a notification that my account has been suspended for a Terms of Service violation. I am unaware of any actions that could have caused this. I use this account for professional and learning purposes, and losing access has significantly halted my workflow. Could you please review my case and provide more information on why this happened? If any mistake was made on my part, I am committed to correcting it immediately. I would greatly appreciate it if you could reinstate my account so I can resume my work. Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, |

Hello GitHub Support Team,
I am writing regarding my issue with accessing my GitHub account. I have already opened a discussion here: https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/179865
I am currently logged into Visual Studio Code using my GitHub account, but I am not logged in on any browser because I am unable to complete 2FA verification. I do not have access to my mobile authentication codes, which prevents me from signing in through the browser.
To help verify my ownership of the account, I can provide details of any repository, project, or comments I have made on GitHub. Please let me know what information you require so that I can recover full access to my account.
Thank you for your assistance.
