Although the transaction failed, my bank (Providus Bank, Nigeria) has placed the amount on authorization hold and is requesting proof from GitHub that the transaction was unsuccessful. Here’s what happened: I attempted to upgrade my Copilot plan. The payment was declined, and I received an error stating that my card was blocked and I should use another card. Despite the failed payment, my bank still shows the transaction amount as a pending authorization hold. I have not been activated on Copilot, and there is no successful payment showing on my GitHub billing history. Providus Bank has confirmed that they can release the funds once I provide official proof that the transaction failed or was canceled. To assist with this, please help me by providing: A confirmation that the attempted payment was not captured by GitHub. A statement or documentation showing that no successful charge was made for this attempted transaction. Kindly help me with an official confirmation so my bank can reverse the pending authorization.
