How to renewal access to Jetbrains Tools

Hi everyone,

Hi. I have the development pack and have been approved in december 2024. Got access to jetbrains tools, which expired on december 2025. Right now, even if a try to apply again in jetbrains page with my github aacount, it says that github verified that i am currently a student, but the accont was already used. How do I renew my benefit for continue using the pro tools of jetbrains? In the benefits page, it says that it should be renewed yearly. My student status is still active. Thanks in advance

Hi! This usually happens because your JetBrains Student License is linked to your old activation, not automatically renewed through GitHub Education.

Try this:

Go to JetBrains Account → Licenses

Check if your Student License is expired

Click Renew License (if visible)

If there is NO renew button:

Log out from JetBrains website

Open this page: https://www.jetbrains.com/student/

Click Apply now → Choose GitHub Education

Sign in with the SAME GitHub account that has Student Pack active

If it still says "already used":

👉 Open a support ticket with JetBrains:
https://account.jetbrains.com/support

Tell them:

Your GitHub Student Pack is still active

Your previous student license expired

Renewal option is not showing

They usually fix it manually within 24–48 hours.
