Ah, I see what’s happening from your screenshot. GitHub’s Education Benefits application is showing the camera icon and a “Start Camera” button, but it’s not letting you attach an existing file. Currently, GitHub’s verification interface only allows: Using your webcam to take a photo of your student ID, transcript, or enrollment letter. It does not have a standard “upload from file” button. Workarounds: Open the page in a desktop browser if you’re on mobile — sometimes mobile hides options. Use the Start Camera button, and when the camera opens, you can usually select “Upload File” from the camera interface in Chrome/Edge/Firefox (it may be hidden behind the camera prompt). If that doesn’t work, take a photo of your document with your phone, email it to yourself, and open the page on your computer to submit it with the camera prompt. As a last resort, contact GitHub Education Support — they can accept your file manually if the interface won’t let you attach it. |

Pro tip: GitHub Education verifies fastest with clear, well-lit photos of official documents with your full name, school name, and a current date visible. Hope this helps you get verified! |
