🏷️ Discussion TypeQuestion 💬 Feature/Topic AreaOther Discussion DetailsI wanted to avail of the $10 subscription and first got the free trial for 30 days. When my account reached the limit, I tried to upgrade . First using a Visa debit. Didn't work. No receipt. Then I get a notice that the debit was declined. I tried another and still didn't worked. I have been using these two debits in other platforms and never encountered any problem. Only here. Now my Github pages re-deployment failed because I "have a billing issue". How to resolve this? |

Read somewhere that debit cards don't work. I will try Paypal and hope it works. |

You are right that debit cards are often declined on GitHub — this is a known issue especially with non-US issued debit cards. GitHub's payment system works more reliably with credit cards or PayPal. |

Thank you. It worked. That was the solution all along. |

For the GitHub Pages deployment issue, once your billing is sorted the deployment should automatically unblock. But if it does not redeploy on its own after successful payment, manually trigger a redeploy from Settings, then Pages, then re-save the branch.
PayPal should work fine — many users have resolved this exact issue by switching to PayPal. Good luck.
