Hi, No, your school will NOT be notified when you sign up for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. The verification process is handled directly by GitHub. They may check your student status (for example, using your school email or documents), but they do not contact or notify your school. It’s completely individual:
As long as you meet the eligibility requirements, you can apply on your own without involving your school. If you're unsure, you can also review GitHub’s privacy and education documentation, but in practice, schools are not notified during the process. |
