I'm posting this as a follow-up to my previous discussion: https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/191930 The situation has gotten worse. After posting about my 5 rejections on the Student Developer Pack application, I submitted a support ticket specifically asking why my previous tickets were being closed without explanation (Ticket #4260565 - "Support Tickets Closed Without Relevant Response - Student Developer Pack Application Issues"). That ticket was also archived without any response in 4 hours. I now have a pattern of archived/closed tickets with zero explanations: Ticket #4260202 - Closed with irrelevant response This is not a coincidence. This appears to be systematic. Either: My account is flagged/blocked for some reason I don't understand And I'm being completely ignored. Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone had success getting a response from GitHub support on education pack issues? At this point I'm wondering if there's a way to escalate beyond the normal support channels. |

I’m posting a follow‑up here because the situation has continued to deteriorate, and I still haven’t received any clarification from GitHub Support. Since opening this discussion, I’ve submitted additional support tickets specifically asking why my previous tickets were being closed or archived without explanation. Those new tickets were also archived with no response within a few hours. At this point, every single ticket related to my Student Developer Pack application or account status has been closed, archived, or dismissed without any meaningful reply. To recap the pattern: • Ticket #4260202 — Closed with an irrelevant response This is now a consistent, repeatable issue — not a one‑off mistake. I’m still a legitimate student with official documentation (school ID, billing statement, transcripts, proof of enrollment, etc.), and I’ve followed every workaround and community suggestion. Figma verified me instantly using the same documents, so I know the documentation is valid. At this point, I’m trying to understand whether: • My account is flagged or blocked in a way that prevents human review I’m not looking for special treatment — just a clear explanation of what’s happening and what I need to do to resolve it. If anyone from GitHub staff or the community has insight into how to escalate this or get an actual review, I’d appreciate it. |

School Email/Domain Issues
Hi everyone,
I've been trying to access the GitHub Student Developer Pack for my account (jsandy04), and I'm completely stuck. I've now been rejected 5 times in a row, my support tickets are being closed without explanation, and I have no idea what's wrong.
The initial problem: When I first tried to apply, the system wouldn't even let me select my school .edu email—I kept getting an error message before I could submit. I searched the community for help and found guidance saying to sign in with my regular email instead and provide ample documentation. I followed that advice exactly.
What I've submitted:
Official School ID - with my name and school ID number clearly visible
Official billing/account statement from my school - dated and cross-referenced with my school ID number
Multiple supporting documents - transcripts, class schedules, proof of enrollment
I've even been verified as a student by Figma (which accepted the exact same documentation)
I tried the workaround with my regular email and submitted all the official documentation they asked for—but still got rejected.
The support experience:
Ticket #4260202 - Closed with a response that didn't address my issue
Ticket #4260240 - Archived with zero explanation
Multiple other tickets similarly dismissed
I just submitted an official support ticket through "Account restrictions" category, but I'm posting here again because I'm concerned my account might be flagged or there's a system error preventing my application from being properly reviewed.
My questions:
Has anyone else experienced the .edu email error, then tried the workaround with regular email and still got rejected?
Does anyone know what might cause an account to be flagged/blocked from the student pack?
Is there something specific about the documentation format or email that matters?
I'm a legitimate student and any guidance would be appreciated.
