Hello everyone, I'm new to GitHub and I'm currently working through the "Communicate using Markdown" course on GitHub Skills. I've come across an issue that I need help with. During the step where I'm supposed to create a pull request, I'm running into a problem. The instructions tell me to open the pull requests tab and click "New pull request", and then select the branches to compare ( I've verified that the Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. Best, |

Hi there, I finally figured out the issue with the "Communicate using Markdown" course. It turns out that the pull request button I needed to click was not the one at the very top right next to the profile picture icon, but another one located further down the page, on the left side, underneath the GitHub cat icon and between the 'Issues' and 'Actions' tabs, within the selected repository. I'm surprised I didn't notice it yesterday, or perhaps it just magically appeared today. However, I'm glad the issue is now resolved. Thanks for your time! |
