Your purpose in using this API:
I will be using the API for a digital signal display inside our local mosque. There will be a slide that will show hadiths and/or Quranic verses. I would like to use sunnah.com as it is reputable and verified. The digital signage has other uses such as event calendar, donation counters and notifications.

API rate limits:
- Maximum requests per second:
- Maximum requests per day:
I will only be calling the API maximum twice a day just for Hadiths. there is no ways i will be hitting the rate limit with this.

Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
I would like an API to automatically update and provide a new hadith once a day. It would be a effort for someone to manually add it. Since its a custom application I am building. Since there are not a lot of tech savvy people in our masjid it would be easier for an API to handle it. I am sometimes not around to help.
JavaScript (Node.js). The API client runs on a Raspberry Pi 4 as a small Express.js backend server, which proxies cached daily requests from a self-hosted React signage display for our masjid.
