RERUN rerun test Test name pattern: Making all tests skipped on first run.

Every time I close and open VScode and running all the tests, they all get skipped. But when I run them again they run as normal, this is kinda frustrating and and I can't figure out if this is something on our part (I'm not alone with this problem in this project).

It looks like the inital Test name pattern: gets corrupted in some way. And after a second run it has the right pattern from the old test result. I have played aound with settings and workspaces with no luck. Any idea what could be wrong?

The output has a lot of information on you test run. If you provide it, we can analyze what is going on. To open the output, run > Vitest: Show Output Channel command

Just for the record, I have the same problem in both VScode and Cursor and same for my colleagues

Ok, so you only have a single file in the project and you are pressing the button to run ALL tests, is that correct?

No we have thousands of tests spreading across hundreds of files. And yes I use the button that you refer to as I have done for many years but suddenly starting to get wonky.
