• Quick pick/input with filtering, multi-select, and validation.
• Command palette and context-aware commands.
• Menus/context menus, progress, notifications, and modal/non-modal dialogs.
• Workspace trust and authentication prompt presentation.

Acceptance criteria

• Keyboard, mouse, and accessibility journeys pass across all responsive modes.

MVP-2 terminal workbench shell landed and was verified on clean commit 6e0f8db.

Evidence summary:

• Command: npm run verify:mvp
• Result: passed
• T-008: passed — deterministic workbench frames across wide/medium/narrow/minimum responsive modes
• T-009: passed — resize recomputes layout and rebuilds hit regions
• T-010: passed — core keyboard commands resolve with terminal-aware enablement/collision reporting
• T-011: passed — pointer routing selects the topmost semantic hit region
• T-012-smoke: passed — internal terminal screen model bounds child output and strips ANSI control sequences from outer frames
• Evidence path from local/CI run: test-evidence/mvp-2-terminal-workbench/

Known limitation: this is the deterministic terminal workbench shell and internal terminal-screen model. Raw terminal mode, live PTY channels, and full interactive alternate-screen integration remain pending before closing all MVP-2 issues.

Implementation update from 04e1127: command palette now renders filtered commands, shortcuts, keyboard selection, recent-command ordering, and explicit disabled reasons. Component test T-010-palette and black-box USER-PTY-001 pass. This issue stays open because its full original scope includes general quick-input, menus, dialogs and notifications.

Quick Open picker slice completed in 9e89809 via #40: recursive remote files, filtering, visible selection, arrow navigation, Enter open, safe cancellation and explicit no-match state now pass component and raw-PTY evidence. Parent remains open for multi-select/validation, menus/context menus, progress, notifications, trust/auth prompts and mouse picker interaction.
