Blog series feature

A feature that's lets you link together and name a group of blog posts. A blog post in a series would have some sort of control to page through the series. Maybe when clicking on the series title, it would take you to a new page that would list the series name (maybe some stats like 5 posts in this series, last updated, complete/in progress?), then list out the blog posts in order.

This feature could also have a new page to browse blog series.

I like the idea and we need to tackle that with a bit of ideation before we start writing code.

There are two important questions:

1. How and where do we show the user that this is a Series (does a series has a title, ...)?
2. As Author: How can I add blog posts to a series?

1. How and where do we show the user that this is a Series

I just scribbled something together with Claude Design to express what I am thinking. Basically a "Series" has a title and consists out of blog posts. I do like something like that:

So it is clear from the top that we are in a "Series" and clicking on it would directly go to the bottom so the user can select where he wants to jump to.

2. Author

For the Author we can have something where he can create the series and then "map" the blog post to.

Downside of this approach: You have to go to already existing blog posts and "link" them.

Additional Information

• One blog post can only be in one series (at least I don't see much need of a 1:n mapping)
• We also have similar blog posts - that raises the question: Should posts inside a series be considered as "similar" as this is very very likely and seems then redundant.
